Just Events Ltd are running the Moor2sea Sportive in association with the Mid-Devon Cycling Club. Stewart Bergman, Director of Just Events Ltd, is a member of the MDCC and is the Chairman of the Dartmoor Classic Organisers Committee. Mid-Devon Cycling Club have kindly agreed to help and support Just Events Ltd with the organisation and running of this event.

Just Events Ltd are registered with British Cycling as an event Organiser and the Moor2sea Sportive has been registered with British Cycling as a non-competitive on road event in their UK Cyclo-Sportive Calendar. A portion of your registration fee covers the British Cycling Levies which includes their Third Party Liability Insurance. We would also strongly recommend that you take advantage of British Cycling's Sportive Rider Membership Scheme

The Ashburton Search and Rescue Team is part of the Dartmoor Rescue Group (DRG) which was started in 1968. It is also affiliated to Mountain Rescue England and Wales (Post Number 78).

As the name suggests their HQ is on the outskirts of Ashburton in Devon on the edge of South Dartmoor. They are responsibility for search and rescue of missing persons in the South and East Devon area.

Although the police have the ultimate responsibility for responding to and investigating reports of missing persons, they will often request the services of volunteer Search and Rescue organisations such as Ashburton Dartmoor Rescue team to assist in such matters. Being employed by them, their responsibility covers the highland areas of Dartmoor to the fringes of the Devon coast, where the coastguard takes over. Hence their search and rescue operations can cover both rural and urban areas.

DSRT Ashburton are official charity partners of the Moor 2 sea Sportive. Just Events Ltd are delighted to be able to support this very worthy cause.

The Massage Clinic are based in Exmouth but have a specialist mobile treatment clinic which they are able to bring along to support local events such as the Moor2sea Sportive, providing tailored Sports & Remedial Massage Treatment.  The Massage Clinic will have their treatment room in the Conference Centre at Exeter Racecourse, ready to treat and sooth away all your aches and pains at the end of your ride.

Performance Cycles, based in the Cotswolds, provide a comprehensive Event Neutral Service package, to help organisers put on an event with the professional finishing touches that all riders want to see. Whether it's a sportive, an elite category road race or a local Sunday afternoon 3rd/4th catagory race - they love to be there.

Performance Cycles will be at the Event HQ to assist you should you find that you have any last minute problems before commencing your ride. They will also have their neutral service vehicles out on the course, fully kitted with spares (including wheels) and experienced crews to make sure you are able to complete your ride should you be unfortunate enough to experience a mechanical problem during your time with us.
